Emma Channon
Cornwall my home. Abundant in inspiration from natural rugged beauty, woodlands and ancient sites.
Happiest when creating, with a passion for the slightly alternative, I found myself an outlet that allows me to combine creativity with my fascination of ominous beauty. Appreciating and adorning natures remains.

My abstract journey is deeply influenced by people, place, and time. Finding inspiration in the connection within people. Places with their unique atmosphere, colours and textures and time, capturing moments and emotions. I love creating large pieces with rich textures and acrylics.

After an interesting few years of learning and exploration, in 2024 I took the plunge and set up my own pottery studio. I now have a 10 x 8ft garden shed in Hayle, with a momentum kick wheel and 60l electric kiln.
I also do Raku firings with a group at Goonzoyle Pottery, Kehelland.

Sue Harding
I have been painting for many years after obtaining my degree in fine art whilst living
in Sussex. My artwork tends to be based in realism but I also enjoy abstracting that realism. I like to paint the world about me depending where I live. From Kent to Sussex via Devon and now here in Cornwall. I paint in oils, pastel, acrylics or watercolour, depending on my mood and subject matter –sometimes using all in mixed-media pieces.

Cerisia Ta’Torin
Hello my name is Cerisia and I’m an local Cornish artist working from Hayle.
My paintings tell the stories of other worlds I have created for myself, reflecting my
vulnerability as a neurodivergent artist navigating a complex world that often shows little grace to those like me. Rooted in a neo-expressionist approach, my work uses bold, emotive layers of paint to communicate my joy in my latest fixations, inviting viewers into a unique and deeply personal narrative. Through colour and texture, I weave my interpretation of these worlds, offering glimpses of my inner life with
every stroke.

Emma Cox
I am a writer, artist, and photographer living in Hayle.
Creativity is like mycelium, connecting the subject through the artist to the viewer. Nature inspires my artwork, and this symbiotic association reminds me that we are all a part of it. Modern lifestyles and ways of thinking often put
humanity outside of nature. Through art, I find reconnection.
I am drawn to natural places which feel both timeless and ancient. I seek to find the character of a place and convey it through my art and storytelling.
Cornwall has always been my home, and its beauty is an inspiration for my creative works.

Julia Chapman
I am an abstract artist and combine both Cornish landscapes and Colour Theory/Psychology in all of my work. I’m particularly fascinated by an aerial perspective of landscapes and use maps, drone photography and Google earth images to draw inspiration for the patterns, symbols and textures I use in my paintings. You could say that my work represents the feeling of a landscape
abstracted into the form of a map rather than a visual representation of the actual land.
Each of my works also explores the theory behind colour psychology and the impact
that colours have on our emotions.
Consistently choosing a bright, bold colour
palette I can ensure every painting evokes a positive feel-good response and so uplifts any space they are displayed in. My goal is to create ‘Happy art for a Happy Home.’

Lisa Green
Hello I’m Lisa, I created Silver Linings in 2022 after moving down to Cornwall. I graduated University of Central Lancashire with a BA (Hons) Illustration Degree in 2008. I spent a long time away from anything creative but I’m slowly starting to find that piece of me again. I started designing greeting cards then created some paintings of the lovely local landscapes. My paintings are usually a mix of acrylics, ink and watercolours, I also do some digital work using Procreate for some of my greeting cards. Silver Linings is a part time venture for me, I’ve been lucky enough to take part in some markets whilst I’ve been down here…it’s been great to be included in the local community with so many talented artists.
I also work for The Cinnamon Trust in Hayle.

I’m a scooter rider that got inspired to do art by visiting skateparks and seeing all the graffiti pieces. Graffiti art style has always stood out to me more than other styles it takes a lot of creativity and practise but it’s so beautiful. My goal through my art is to try and make people see graffiti differently it’s not always vandalism it’s art the details, the colours the add ons the style it’s beautiful it can make a dull places pop out and have so much more colour!
The character you will see in my work is Snom my art is made to do around him as Snom’s world it adds a bit more fun to the pieces and lets me express my mind through him and it’s a way I express myself! if you would like to find out more or ask any questions you can contact me on instagram @useradriku I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions.

James Eddy
James is a site-specific artist exhibiting and delivering projects both nationally and internationally. In 1998 he volunteered as an artist maker for Kneehigh Theatre, this experience inspired him to become a practiscing visual artist He has worked on projects at the Eden project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, where he created the 'Growth and Decay charcoal sculpure. The sculpture is a living and decaying piece, a part of nature, gradually changing and evolving withits surroundings. In 20125 he was invited to create a sculpture for the Queen Sirkit Botanical Garden in Chang Mai, Thailand. I have always had a great love of nature,of being outdoors and Zen Buddhism. The experiences of working in the countryside, playing in the sea and the knowledge learnt during my environmental science degree, have greatly underpinned my artistic career.
I try to create a natural and often gnarly simplicity in my work, capturing the essence of things in a form of visual poetry.
A Japanese concept that conveys this for me is,
'Mono-no-aware', which in one way can be defined as a sense of 'Ah-ness'.

Mark ‘Scruff’ Williams
A Cornish artist and illustrator from Hayle, where growing in a world that was 90% water, I
spent most of my early childhood falling into ponds, Hayle estuary, puddles, rivers and the
sea. I fell into Helston boating lake three times. I wanted to live underwater and to be honest, thought I would have achieved this by now. This also meant I spent a good deal of time walking around in just my pants and a kagoul.
I am proud to have paintings, illustrations and prints hanging in every continent, and in
countries ranging from Mexico to Belgium.
I am also a published cartoonist.
For the majority of my life, I have been known as Scruff. I have used this name as a pen name, along with a few others, to sign my work since I was about eleven.
At the moment I work mainly digitally but use everything from pen and ink, acrylics,
watercolour and biro, to papier mâché and tea & coffee. My favourite combination is still
where it all started. Doodling on the sole of a slipper with a biro. Half Man Half Biscuit will
back me up on that.

Steve Matteson
For many years I used oil based materials for my artwork. I enjoyed this very much and still have a passion for oil painting but for the last 4 or 5 years I have enjoyed acrylic paint with a quicker drying process and a vivid colour selection.
The speed of work I can produce using water based materials has definitely helped me achieve certain aims. I like to work at a certain tempo.
Like so many people I am interested in the environment, far away and up close, up in the sky and below the soil. I enjoy the colour range from nature which I see vividly - natures natural colour - sometimes enhanced by light and shade.
I can also say I enjoy being amongst buildings, old and new, where synthetic colours are painted vibrantly on walls, roofs and interiors.
When all is said and done I am fascinated by the magic around us.

David Roskilly
I’m an artist, designer and photographer.
After many years living and working in London, I'm now based in Cornwall, South West of Somewhere.
I arrived in London in 1976 as punk hit, went to college @ saint martins in the eighties and started Reactor Interactive in the nineties (web + multimedia design studio in Shoreditch, London).
In the 2000s I cofounded Creator Design based in Hackney Wick and later Haggerston, London.
I've worked alone ever since. I work mostly in collage, analog and digital. I’ve always loved it.
I’m very interested in: the intertextuality on every surface of the modern urban environment, the patterns in the urban anarchy (the occurrence of the abstract against this backdrop), how these patterns can be recontextualised to transform our living and working spaces, the mysterious analogue patterns and signals of nature.
I think intuition in any work is hugely important.
I work under the name fullOM.
